The Staff at St. Augustine’s

 

Judith Neal, Parish Administrator.   Judy stepped into the role of church secretary under the ministry of Father Ned Haines and at his retirement, Judy stayed on to provide the continuity of services that the parish needed.  Judy still finds her role at St. Augustine’s to be a joy and her special ministries are the parish family and community.  She supports the clergy, the vestry, the lay ministry leaders and members in any capacity needed.

 

Roscoe Redcross, Minister of Music.  Roscoe’s roots grow very deep in St. Augustine’s soil.  His parents were members at St. Augustine’s where he and his brother participated in church activities.  Roscoe earned a degree in Music Education from Howard University in Washington, D.C.  He continued his studies, earning a Master of Arts degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York.  He and his wife, Dianne are owners and directors of Hampton Academy of Music, Dance, and Drama, Inc.

 

Thaddeus Savage, Sexton.  Thaddeus is a native of Hampton, graduating from Hampton High. He continued his education by receiving a degree from Virginia State University. Thaddeus is currently employed by the City of Hampton as a Codes Inspector, and has stepped up as the full-time sexton at St. Augustine’s. He also serves as an usher, Outreach Program manager, Vestry member and Men’s Club.
